Sound on! "I will give thanks to you, Lord, with Sound on! "I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds." -Psalm 9:1

It's easy to forget the good things, the wonderful deeds that happen in our lives every day. In the midst of the #coronavirus pandemic, all seems gloomy, broken, and scary. It doesn't have to be.

There's still beauty in this world. We just have to open our eyes to see it. Look past the darkness and then you'll see the light, the hope.

I took this video today from my backyard. It was a timely reminder for me that God is there in the light and in the darkness, in the birds chirping and the silence, in the stillness and the hustle and bustle, in our joy and our fear. We are never alone.

I hope this video can remind you of the beauty that abounds even when the world is full of darkness.
I'm thankful that my dad's cancer was caught during a checkup for something else. Since it doesn't cause symptoms until it has already metastasized, it could have been too late. But it wasn't.
What are you thankful for today?

The world feels a little bit crazy right now, and The world feels a little bit crazy right now, and we're all transitioning into a different way of life for the foreseeable future. Sometimes, it's overwhelming, like we might not be able to breathe from the weight of fear, anxiety, uncertainty. The panic that's permeating society is heavy and carries all of our hopes and dreams away from us.

But let's try not to panic, though the temptation can be great. Let's treat each other with respect and love. Show each other grace and kindness. That's where our humanity shines through the darkness.

When you're overwhelmed with fear and anxiety, be still. In the stillness, you'll find God, and He's waiting.

I don't know what I'm doing, but it's so much fun experimenting to see what happens when you do different things. I usually draw digitally and found myself saying, "Ctrl+z. Ctrl+z! Oh no, I can't undo!" Good times, guys. Good times!

Funny story: I took a whole bunch of product photo Funny story: I took a whole bunch of product photos today. My camera was set to automatic, where it chooses what shooting mode to use based on the image. When I got to this #williamblake card, my camera circled the girl and said "Infant" in the upper left corner. I wonder what that says about my drawing haha. It is supposed to be a child though!
